About
Wanda P Cosentino is an Italo-Brazilian artist and researcher based in Paris, France. Educated between Paris and Milan, she receives ongoing mentorship from Anna Israel and Lucas Rehnman. Her practice investigates the parallels between modern science and mysticism. She translates invisible states of attention into physical forms, exploring how body, space, and matter constantly affect one another. This conceptual foundation guides her choice of materials - such as washi paper, Plexiglas, and resin - and how they unfold in space. Washi’s porous structure intensely absorbs gestures and pigment, revealing the relationship between body and matter. Resin creates energetic fields, opening space for light. Technological tools, when present, act as spiritual instruments to access other layers of reality.
